ITW Medical Joins Chamfr

It’s been a busy first 3 months of 2023. We’ve added completely new products including resin & colorant raw materials, guidewires, introducer sheaths and springs. We’ve expanded a lot of product categories such as balloons, coated mandrels, FEP heat shrink, etched PTFE liners just to name a few. And, we’ve added 5 new suppliers – Hoop Medical, 3TG Tech, Surface Solutions, Galt Medical and Acme Monaco.

We’re excited to add more new products with the addition of ITW Medical. They will start with 6 filters and 6 check valves and plan to grow their offering in the coming months (so check back!). These components are often utilized in infusion, contrast-enhanced imaging, dialysis and endoscopy applications.

Filters

ITW Medical will begin their Filtertek filter offering with 17mm inline filters, micro-infusion pediatric filters, and MediPure^™ I.V. filters. These filters are often used for hemodialysis applications where it’s critical to prevent contamination of the equipment with blood flow, while still allowing for the passage of air.

Inline Filters:

• Disposable 17mm acrylic filters
• Pore sizes range from 0.2 to 5 microns
• Posts consist of male or female luer connections

Micro-infusion Pediatric Filter:

• Polyethersulfone clear acrylic material
• Pore sizes range from 0.2 to 1.2 microns
• 0.090” ID port connections

MediPure™ I.V. Filter:

• Self-priming and vented
• Pore sizes range from 0.2 to 1.2 microns
• 0.110” ID port connections

Check Valves

Keep fluid moving in one direction and eliminate backflow with Filtertek BOLUSSAFE™ check valves. Choose from a wide range of common connections and low to high cracking pressures. Custom cracking pressures are available upon request.

• USP Class VI plastic material with silicone diaphragm
• Cracking pressures range from 0.21 to 5.0 psi
• Inlet and outlet connections include tube insert and male / female luer lock
