Product Description
Beahm Designs R&D split die thermal bonder, model 220B, provides a low cost, quick tool for thermoplastic bonding. The system can create highly repeatable bonds for a wide range of bond widths and diameters including very narrow weld profiles. Applications include highly precise bonds such as short balloon bonds, ultra-smooth lap and butt welds. An adjustable clamp pressure which varies the compression force on joint. The three-parameter operation is easy to set-up and simplifies system calibration and process validation. Includes one set of blank dies which can be machined to meet application size requirements.
