US Extruders manufactures extruders and systems. Our Med-Ex line includes direct drive, barrel with an integral feed port and touchscreen interface. These modern extrusion features result in tight tolerance medical tubing with high process performance (Ppk) enabling 5 & 6 Sigma dimensional accuracy.
Med-Ex Medical Extruders
Our Med-Ex extruder line consists of precision-engineered extruders designed for critical medical applications. From handling reflow materials to fluoropolymers and silicone, our extruders feature customizable configurations to meet the demands of medical tubing, catheters, and more.
Our extruders ensure consistent dimensional accuracy with the following features:
• Integral feed system: allows for positive feeding of all grades of Nylon
• Pressure control system: enables a high level of process stability
• Screw designs: deliver a high level of melt temperature uniformity
Medical Extrusion Systems
Fully integrated extrusion lines with factory acceptance testing at US Extruders and site acceptance testing at the customer’s facility. We also offer our in-house designed and built Med-Ex Quench Tank, providing stainless design and precision control for tubing lines, as well as our Med-Ex Take Up/Pay Off, which is ideal for braided catheter tubing applications.
