ElringKlinger’s Polytetraflon PTFE heat shrink tubing with a shrinking ratio of 2:1 is produced of virgin PTFE, and is made for applications which require a high temperature, and chemical resistance. In addition, this high performance heat shrink tubing provides great protection against corrosion, moisture, and other harsh environmental conditions. With a large shrinking ratio of 2:1, it has the capability to cover several dimensions, and complex geometries. The upper service temperature is 500 °F and the lower service temperature is -328 °F. A shrinking temperature of 626 °F is required. By using an ElringKlinger Polytetraflon PTFE heat shrink tubing, the lifetime of parts and applications can be expanded as well as lead to a savings of costs by improving the performance of the covered devices.
