Product Description
The patented Blockwise Model GPD is a 6-jaw radial compression mechanism that can radially compress marker bands, as well as electrical or mechanical ferrules as part of an assembly process. Work pieces can be easily formed into a hexagonal shape by actuating the 6 jaws with an air cylinder. A mechanical closed-stop screw may be used to set the crimp diameter. This configuration does not include an air control system, but gives the user the freedom to decide how they would like to integrate the crimper into their existing machinery and available lab space. Blockwise short crimpers cover a wide diameter range without tooling changes and provide a crimp with less flash.
