Product Description
This FEP heat shrink tubing is designed for precision medical applications, offering a 1.6:1 shrink ratio to ensure a tight, conformal fit over components. With an expanded ID of 0.110″ and a recovered ID of 0.068″, it provides a thin yet durable wall thickness of 0.01″ after shrinking, ideal for reflow bonding and temporary component protection during assembly. Its fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP) construction delivers excellent chemical resistance and high-temperature stability, making it suitable for catheter insulation, delivery system jackets, and other medical device applications where temporary heat-shrink protection is needed. Unlike Pebax tubing, FEP is typically removed after heating, ensuring clean, residue-free results. Packaged in quantities of 5 per bag, this tubing is available for fast delivery, shipping within 1-2 business days. Manufactured in an ISO 14644-1:2015 Class 8 cleanroom environment, it meets stringent medical industry standards.
