Product Description
This FEP heat shrink tubing is designed for precision medical applications, offering a 1.6:1 shrink ratio for a secure, tight fit. With an expanded ID of 0.165″ and a recovered ID of 0.102″, it provides a thin yet durable wall thickness of 0.012″ after shrinking. The material’s low shrink temperature (212°F/100°C) makes it ideal for reflow bonding, catheter insulation, or component protection without damaging sensitive devices. FEP tubing is particularly valued for its smooth surface, chemical resistance, and ability to bond with substrates, making it suitable for guidewire coatings, surgical instrument jacketing, and abrasion or corrosion protection. Unlike PTFE, it shrinks at a lower temperature, simplifying processing while maintaining performance. Packaged in quantities of 5 per bag, this tubing is available for fast delivery, shipping within 1-2 business days.
