Product Description

Pebax and Polyolefin 2:1 heat shrink tubing is useful for early-stage prototyping of small-diameter components where tight tolerances and controlled recovery are required. This kit includes both materials in sizes under 0.040″ for evaluation across common small-diameter medical device applications.

  •  Pebax 2:1 heat shrink forms a thermal bond to underlying polymers or metals and remains on the device after processing, eliminating removal or reflow steps.
  • Polyolefin 2:1 heat shrink offers low shrink temperature, rapid recovery, and reliable insulation and barrier performance for small-diameter builds.

The kit format allows engineers to evaluate multiple tubing sizes in a single package and supports prototyping, design iteration, and feasibility testing. Each kit includes 14 pieces across multiple sizes, supplied in 12-inch lengths. Refer to the data sheet for specifications for each tubing size.

Common uses include small-diameter catheters and shafts, guidewires, laser-cut hypotubes, and other precision components.
